Cross Church Worship exists to reach Northwest Arkansas, America, and the world for Jesus Christ by creatively communicating the Truth of who God is.
It is a privilege and a joy to be able to use the gift of music to praise and worship our great God! We seek to lead others in the exaltation of Jesus knowing that where two or three are gathered He will be among them. (Matthew 18:20) We strive to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, being filled with the Holy Spirit to make much of Jesus for the glory and honor of God the Father.
The worship band is a group of skilled and passionate musicians who love worshiping Jesus and desire to lead others to do the same. We utilize a rotation of auditioned musicians in the following instruments: Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano/Keyboard & Drums. If you are passionate about music and leading other people in praise, we’d love to have you audition for the band!
The Vocal Team is a gifted community of singers/leaders who are passionate and expressive in their leadership. This team is auditioned and has an added level of musical expectation (i.e. – vocal ability/tone and harmony singing). This is great place to serve if you have a passion to see the church grow in biblical worship expression and congregational singing/praise.
The Cross Church Choir is an auditioned group that serves alongside the Band & Vocal Team to give leadership on Sunday mornings and Cross Church Global Events (i.e. – Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Easter & CC Together). Choir rehearsals are tailored specifically toward global events and are communicated to each choir member once they have joined.
theSocial worship team gives leadership to our young adult service on Tuesday evenings (theSocial). This team is auditioned, and is made up primarily of young adults. TheSocial Worship team is a perfect place to build community with other young adults across NWA, and to grow in your understanding of Worship.
The Next Gen Worship team is an auditioned group that serves in our Wednesday Night and Sunday morning gatherings. Depending on the age of the student may be asked to lead music for our Preteen, Middle School or High School Students. This team is for students who are passionate about music and worship, and is the perfect place to develop your musical understanding and grow in your gifting.
Cross Kids Worship is the foundational level for the children of Cross Church to get involved. CKW has rehearsals on Wednesday evenings throughout the Fall & Spring, participates in the Christmas Production, a few Sunday mornings throughout the year and specific CKW Worship Nights. This is the perfect place to get involved if you have an interest in music.
Cross Dance Ministry is a Christ-centered praise dance ministry under the umbrella of the Worship Ministry of Cross Church Springdale. Cross Dance Ministry seeks to bring out the best in each girl while consistently pointing them to worship our Creator using their mind, body, and spirit through DANCE. We encourage our girls to live their lives in a manner worthy of the cross of Jesus Christ! Enrollment for classes takes place in July each year.
