Service Times
Cross Church Springdale has three great service options for you and your family! All services offer live exciting worship. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 10:55 a.m., and our Marshallese service begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel
Student Ministry
We have amazing opportunities for students to connect with each other through weekly small groups, Wednesday night activities, camps, mission opportunities, and creative arts.
Worship Ministry
Worship is “an encounter with Christ that results in lifestyle change.” The Worship Ministry seeks to lead the congregation to experience His presence each time we gather. The congregation is encouraged to be participators in worship, not spectators.
Children’s Ministry
Cross Kidz holds exciting services that are designed specifically for children, which allows them to worship the way they are wired. God’s Word is taught in a manner in which kids can relate to it and learn how to apply it to their lives.
Compassion
Cross Church seeks to empower our members to live on mission wherever they go on a daily basis. Our missional vision as a church is “Reaching Northwest Arkansas, America, and the World for Jesus Christ.”
Small Groups
Small Groups are a great place to make friends, grow spiritually, and make a difference in the community. These groups meet each week across Northwest Arkansas.
Campus History
The First Baptist Church of Springdale campus dates back to February 1870 when it was founded by six women and seven men meeting in a home. It is the largest church in the state of Arkansas. The 100-year anniversary in 1970 marked the beginning of the evolution into today’s church with the launching of additional ministries and the opening of a kindergarten that would eventually become Shiloh Christian School. A new church worship center and two educational buildings opened in 1979. Additions of new buildings, renovations of existing structures, and repurposing have taken place about every five or ten years since then. The most recent change was construction of a new children’s ministry building in 2006 bringing the total to about 330,000 square feet.
The Springdale campus is also home of Shiloh Christian School, and Champions Stadium.
