Preschool Parents! My name is Katie Stewart and I am so excited about this year's Pre-XLR8 program! Your children will learn and experience important musical ideas through play and fun activities, but more importantly, I pray that they come to realize that they can worship God anywhere, with whatever they are doing. It is my heart and my passion to instill in these little ones not only the love for God, but the love of worshiping Him! With an exciting new center-designed format for Pre-XLR8 this year, I am really looking forward to having your kiddos with us on Wednesday nights.

My name is Kim Darr and I am thrilled to be directing XLR-8 this year! We are kicking off a new Spring season of music, fun & worship! We will be singing for fun, to worship, and to praise and thank God for loving and blessing us! We will have hands on experience with instruments, music, movement, the arts, games and so much more – all while learning music theory. We are excited about our plans for XLR8 this spring and look forward to a refreshing time of worship each Wednesday night! I look forward to seeing your kids on Kick-off night Wednesday, January 28 in the Kidz Theatre!

This year's theme is: RELENTLESS. A weekend experience that will challenge your students at all points in their spiritual walks to forsake selfish dreams, desires and demands, and embrace a Christ-centered lifestyle. These high-energy events focus on passionate worship, engage in teaching and spiritual discipleship designed to fuel faith within the hearts of teenagers to buildmature followers of Jesus who don’t just survive in society, but thrive. Students will stay in host homes with their small groups on Friday and Saturday night. Friday night and Saturday morning, students will participate in the LIFT conference at our Pinnacle Hills Campus. Freedom Weekend will culminate in Student Day on Sunday Morning, 9:15am–12:30pm.

Pinnacle Hills & Fayetteville Campuses MUST print and sign this High Rise Waiver to be able to participate at High Rise.

Greear completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also a faculty member. Jimmy ScrogginsJimmy Scroggins is the lead pastor of Family Church based in West Palm Beach, FL. Scroggins is dedicated to building strong, gospel-centered families in South Florida through a network of neighborhood churches. Family Church has seven locations and ministers in both English and Spanish. Scroggins and his ministry team hold to a vision of seeing each of their campuses to help people in their community and throughout South Florida discover and pursue God’s design. Steve GainesSteve Gaines serves as Bellevue’s Pastor. Before coming to Bellevue, he was Pastor of First Baptist Church in Gardendale, Alabama; West Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee; and Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas, Texas. Bro. Steve served as President of the Pastors' Conference of the Southern Baptist Convention in 2005, and he was a member of the Baptist Faith and Message Study Committee in 1999-2000. He has published two books, Morning Manna and When God Comes to Church. Bro. Steve holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Preaching and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science from Union University. Bro. Steve and his wife, Donna, have four children: Grant, Lindsey, Allison, and Bethany; and six grandchildren.

Ronnie Floyd is the senior pastor of Cross Church, Northwest Arkansas and President of the Southern Baptist Convention. Floyd has been a pastor for over 37 years. In his 28 years at Cross Church, the ministry has grown to include five campuses and has cultivated a deep passion for supporting church plants around the globe and engaging the church in local and international missions. In addition to being named to several positions within the Southern Baptist Convention, Floyd was elected President of the Southern Baptist Convention following his nomination by R. Albert Mohler Jr., President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in June 2014. In his three decades of ministry, Floyd has authored 20 books. Nick Floyd serves as the campus pastor at Cross Church Fayetteville, Ark. Each Sunday, Cross Church Fayetteville and Floyd welcome members of the Fayetteville community into four worship services. Under the leadership of Cross Church’s Senior Pastor, Ronnie Floyd, Nick Floyd assists in preaching at all Cross Church campuses. Depart from Northwest Arkansas (XNA) via Philadelphia to Tel Aviv on US Airways.

Shalom! We arrive in HIS LAND. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, we will be met and assisted to our motor coach. We proceed to our hotel on the shores of the Mediterranean. (D)

Today’s sites include the ancient seaport and Roman theater at Caesarea, Mount Carmel, Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon. We arrive in Tiberias at our hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee. (B,L,D)

Today we cross the Sea of Galilee by boat landing at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar where we view the ancient Jesus Boat. We continue to the site of Peter’s restoration and the Mt. of the Beatitudes before arriving at Kibbutz En Gev for a lunch of St. Peter’s fish. Later we visit Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry base with its ancient synagogue. Time permitting we will travel north to Caesarea Philippi and the mouth of the Jordan River. We end our day at the baptismal site on the Jordan River. If you desire to be baptized please bring a swimsuit.(B,L,D)

This morning we have a short ride south to the city of Bet Shean and continue to Gideon’s Spring at En Harod. We then go up to the Holy City of Jerusalem! Enter HIS gates with gladness! Time permitting we will overview Jerusalem from the Mt. of Olives before arriving at our hotel. (B,L,D) 

We begin our day on the top of the Mt. of Olives before taking the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane. We have a very special prayer service in a private garden next to Gethsemane. Later we enter the Old City through the Lion’s Gate and visit the famous Church of St. Anne with its rich, deep acoustics and the Pool of Bethesda. We continue to the Sisters of Zion Convent to visit the site of Pilate’s Judgment Hall/Antonio Fortress. We continue to the house of Caiaphas. (B,L,D)

Today we visit the Jewish Quarter, Wailing (Western) Wall and Temple Mount where we view the Dome of the Rock, the Al Aksa Mosque and the site where The Temple once stood. (B,L,D)

We depart Jerusalem and proceed through the Judean Wilderness to Qumran, the site where a Bedouin shepherd found the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. We travel south along the shore of the Dead Sea on the lowest road in the world to Masada, truly a remarkable piece of history. En Gedi, a beautiful oasis on the shores of the Dead Sea is our last stop before returning to Jerusalem. (B,L,D)

Today we visit the Garden Tomb for an exciting time of praise and worship. We will view Golgotha and then tour the Garden itself with a visit to the empty tomb. After lunch we will visit additional sites to be determined by our guide before returning to our hotel for dinner and check out. This morning we arrive in Philadelphia. After a plane change, we continue to Northwest Arkansas (XNA). We will return with memories and new friends to last a lifetime and beyond.

PASSPORT: A valid passport is required and must be obtained in person by each tour member. No visas are required for Israel. A valid passport is required to leave the USA. It should be valid for a minimum of SIX MONTHS after your return date; you will be denied boarding if your passport is not valid for SIX MONTHS beyond your return date.

REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT: A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of registration. The deposit may be charged to your VISA, MasterCard or AMERICAN EXPRESS. Registrations received inside sixty (60) days must be accompanied by full payment. A $30 LATE REGISTRATION fee will be assessed.

PAYMENTS: After you have registered for a tour, you will receive an invoice with final payment amount and date due. Final payments should be made payable to DISCOVERY WORLDWIDE MINISTRIES and must be received sixty (60) days prior to departure. Final payments received inside sixty (60) days will be assessed a $30 LATE PAYMENT fee. NOTE: ALL reservations not fully paid by the sixty-day deadline are subject to cancellation, for which Tour Operator is not to be held responsible.

AIRLINE SEATS: Seats without a deposit must be released 95 days from departure. If you cancel your seat with DWM in writing within the 95 days there is a penalty of $100 per person.


If a passenger cancels his/her tour membership for any reason, there will be a cancellation fee of one hundred dollars ($100) to cover administrative and communication costs. For cancellations from 90-60 days an additional $100 is charged for a total cancellation fee of $200. Cancellations received 59-31 days prior to departure: 25% of tour cost; 30-15 days: 50%; NO REFUND for cancellations within fourteen (14) days of departure -- trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available and is highly recommended. All cancellation requests must be addressed to Discovery Worldwide Ministries in writing. Phone calls for cancellations cannot be accepted.

This represents the entire agreement between the passenger and his agent, the Tour Host, the Tour Operator and its agents. The passenger contracts, in use by the airlines and cruise lines, and the passenger or purchaser of this tour and/ or passage and Tour Operator assume no liability or responsibility in connection therewith. Also, the Tour Operator WILL NOT BE responsible for: (a) flight schedule changes, mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather, acts of God, acts of war or aggression, whether declared or undeclared, hijackings, or other circumstances beyond its control, including any connecting flights that may be missed as a result thereof (participants should consider the possibility of delays when arranging connecting flights); (b) the failure to follow instructions, including but not limited to check-in and check-out times and baggage handling; and, (c) charges incurred relating to single room/stateroom requirements either by the passengers themselves or their assigned roommates. Payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions listed in this brochure.

Camp Dallas is a unique camp experience that is available for your 6th & 7th grader this summer. We will be traveling to and staying in a hotel in the Dallas area and working with Mission Arlington during the day to feed and minister to the homeless and transient population in that area. In the evenings, students will participate in a camp style worship service with the Nick Thurmond Band, speaker Kacey Benson and a challenging time in scripture. To cap it off at the end of the week, students will have a fun day at Six Flags over Texas before returning home. All food included in cost of camp except for 1 meal to and from Dallas. 

Beach Camp Beach Camp Jun 21st 2015 - Jun 26th 2015

This camp experience for your 8-12th grader is unlike any other! We will travel to Destin, Florida and stay in condos at the SeaScape Resort where students will have supervised beach time daily as well as grade level competitions. Each morning and evening students will participate in a exciting worship service where they will be challenged like never before from the word of God. This camp is a great opportunity for your student to get away and be outside of their normal routine so that they can be challenged by and focus on their relationship with Jesus. (All meals are covered in the cost of camp except for 2 meals on the way to Destin and 2 meals on the way back home).
