Parent/Child Dedication Parent/Child Dedication Nov 30th 2014

Location/Venue: All Campuses

Registration is now closed for ALL campuses

It is a privilege to share with you in this special service in which you, as a parent, give back to God what He has so graciously given you. This service is not just for babies, but children of all ages.

Dedication is not baptism or a sacrament of any kind. It does not impart salvation on the child. Dedication is the parent’s commitment to God to raise the child in His ways. Cross Church dedicates children because in Luke 2:22-25 we read that as a baby, his parents dedicated Jesus. In Mark 10:16 we see Jesus bestowing blessings on the children. The dedication ceremony is a time to publicly make that commitment to pray for the child, love the child and guide the child toward a personal relationship with Christ.

The $25 cost only covers the registration fee, which will be used in part for your child to purchase store items and awards once they are eligible. Students earn jewels to place in their aviator wings as they complete the three hand-books: HangGlider, WingRunner, and SkyStormer. They will memorize 65 verses within three years. Game Time offers team and individual competitions that are fast-paced and high-energy. The kids love this Game Time.

The four handbooks are each built around eight different questions about God, the Bible, salvation and Christian living. Students memorize eight different Bible passages for each question. At the end of the four-year program, students will have memorized 310 Bible verses to receive the cherished Timothy Award (2 Timothy 2:15).

The Summit The Summit Dec 4th 2014

Location/Venue: Pinnacle Hills - Gatheria

The Summit began in September 2001 out of Dr. Ronnie Floyd’s desire to dramatically impact the business culture of Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Floyd, the Senior Pastor of Cross Church, desired to provide a weekly luncheon that would motivate, inspire and challenge business professionals to make the climb in the business world. His heart for the area coupled with his passion for leadership led him to teach principles that could literally change your future over lunch.

Since its inception, The Summit has become a premier place for connection, equipping and fellowship. Hundreds of business leaders from across our region come weekly to be equipped to make the climb in the business world. Today, the focus and format is the same however Dr. Floyd does not speak every week like he did in early years. Instead he invites significant leaders from around the country to share insights that could transform your career.
