Location/Venue: Fellowship Gym
Time: 6:30PM to 8:00PM
Coordinator: Heath Bryant

Awana meets every Wednesday from 6:30–8:00 p.m.

Parents, we are now offering Awana for your children, 3 years old-5th grade! Awana meets weekly on Wednesday nights and is an organization that helps churches and parents raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana is the only organization with fully integrated evangelism and discipleship program for children. Your child will be a part of weekly programs and special events that introduce children to Jesus Christ and build a biblical foundation for faith. The $25 cost only covers the registration fee, which will be used in part for your child to purchase store items and awards once they are eligible. Parents will need to purchase a handbook and uniform for their child as they progress throughout the semester, which will be an additional cost. Price varies by club.

Cubbies

Children Age 3 (by 8/1/12 & toilet trained),and K4 AWANA Cubbies Club provides a framework for spiritual training in the home under the supervision of the parents. One handbook, filled with Bible verses and activities for parents to do with their children at home, is completed each year. Club activities include games, puppets, crafts and verses that are said to receive stickers and patches for the Cubbie blue vest. Story Time reinforces the Bible verses being learned.

Sparks

Students K-5 through Grade 2 AWANA Sparks’ handbooks teach basic truths about God, Jesus Christ, salvation and the Bible. A clear and consistent presentation of the Gospel message is made each week. The Bible is presented chronologically and details about Bible characters are told in captivating biographies. Students earn jewels to place in their aviator wings as they complete the three hand-books: HangGlider, WingRunner, and SkyStormer. They will memorize 65 verses within three years. Game Time offers team and individual competitions that are fast-paced and high-energy. The kids love this Game Time.

T and T

Students Grades 3–5 AWANA Clubbers is designed to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. The four handbooks are each built around eight different questions about God, the Bible, salvation and Christian living. Students memorize eight different Bible passages for each question. At the end of the four-year program, students will have memorized 310 Bible verses to receive the cherished Timothy Award (2 Timothy 2:15).

Friday Night Out - PH Friday Night Out - PH May 1st 2015 - May 8th 2015

Time: 6:00PM to 9:30PM
Coordinator: Robyn Brooks

FNO is for children birth – 5th grade.

This is an opportunity for parents to re-connect with each other on Friday nights. Participate in a Small Group the weeks prior to the Friday Night Out date desired to receive a voucher for childcare. Childcare is provided to individuals with children fifth grade or younger between the hours of 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Follow the instructions on your voucher to register your children. Registrations must be in by midnight the Wednesday prior. Sorry, no exceptions to the rules!

With the rising costs associated with this ministry we have made the decision to charge a very small fee to reduce cost overages. This new fee will be $10 for the entire evening, per family, whether you have one child or multiple children. This means for $10 your family receives childcare from 6:00-9:30 p.m.

It is our desire to be the very best stewards we can with what God has given to us. This change will allow us to continue to offer this great opportunity to small group participants while still offering an incredible value when compared to the childcare alternatives out there today.

If you have any questions prior to registering, please email Robyn Brooks at the Pinnacle Hills Campus.

Camera (or camera phone) and a vehicle will be needed to participate.

We will meet at Gusano's at 11:30 am for lunch and instructions (2603 W Pleasant Grove Rd #112, Rogers 72758) and then each family will head out on their own scavenger hunt adventure with their daughter(s). Each family will be given a list of tasks to complete; each task will be worth a different amount of points. Couples will choose which tasks they want to complete, while taking photos of themselves as they do it. They will then meet us back at Cross Church Springdale at 2:30 pm to be eligible for prizes in this competition. You do not have to have a twitter account to participate BUT there will be special prizes given for those who post their scavenger hunt pictures along the way using the hash-tag #ddAdventure2015. Prizes will be given for the most points earned, the most tasks completed, funniest photo that was posted using the hash tag, the most tasks posted with the hash tag and more!

We will wrap up the afternoon with snow cones, prizes, and fun as we watch pictures that were posted throughout the day, tell stories about the different tasks we completed, and all the memories we made together! Our goal with this event is for dads and daughters to spend an afternoon laughing together, enjoying each other's company as they complete silly tasks around town together. Parent/Child Dedication Parent/Child Dedication May 10th 2015

Location/Venue: All Campuses

It is a privilege to share with you in this special service in which you, as a parent, give back to God what He has so graciously given you. This service is not just for babies, but children of all ages.

Dedication is not baptism or a sacrament of any kind. It does not impart salvation on the child. Dedication is the parent’s commitment to God to raise the child in His ways. Cross Church dedicates children because in Luke 2:22-25 we read that as a baby, his parents dedicated Jesus. In Mark 10:16 we see Jesus bestowing blessings on the children. The dedication ceremony is a time to publicly make that commitment to pray for the child, love the child and guide the child toward a personal relationship with Christ.

Registration deadline for ALL campuses is April 26.
