Parent/Child Dedication Parent/Child Dedication Nov 29th 2015

Location/Venue: All Campuses

It is a privilege to share with you in this special service in which you, as a parent, give back to God what He has so graciously given you. This service is not just for babies, but children of all ages.

Dedication is not baptism or a sacrament of any kind. It does not impart salvation on the child. Dedication is the parent’s commitment to God to raise the child in His ways. Cross Church dedicates children because in Luke 2:22-25 we read that as a baby, his parents dedicated Jesus. In Mark 10:16 we see Jesus bestowing blessings on the children. The dedication ceremony is a time to publicly make that commitment to pray for the child, love the child and guide the child toward a personal relationship with Christ.

Dedication will take place before our 9:15 a.m. service. We will also be having a Parent/Child Dedication Class on November 15 at 10:55 a.m. in the Bookstore.

Cheerleading is a huge part of sporting events at all levels of play. When athletes need encouragement and fans need entertainment, having cheerleaders on hand can take your sports experience to another level!

Night to Shine Night to Shine Feb 12th 2016

Location/Venue: Cross Church Springdale
Time: 6:00PM to 9:00PM
Coordinator: Tammy Kuykendall

The Tim Tebow Foundation has a great passion for people with special needs, and in 2014 we launched “Night to Shine.” The vision was simple… work with churches around the country to provide an incredible prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 16 and older.

This past February, 44 churches and 15,000 volunteers came together on one night, celebrating 7,000 honored guests with special needs. This unforgettable prom night experience changed Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God’s love, people with special needs and the value of life. This year we will continue expanding this ministry into a worldwide movement that allows people with special needs to shine, churches to shine, volunteers to shine, and most importantly, Christ to shine.

We need your help! We need lots of volunteers to make this night incredible special for our honored guests. Click the button below to volunteer today!
