Cross Church members from all campuses are encouraged to volunteer at this weekly outreach where a hot meal is served, the Bible is taught and lives are changed.

We have various shifts and roles to fit any schedule or skill level and we love to schedule small groups to take on a Saturday morning.

A teaching will be led by Gina Fanzke and Emily Gardner, for Moms and Daughters about how we are all different and unique but we are all similarly covered in the righteousness of Christ when we choose to believe in Him.

Jimmy ScrogginsJimmy Scroggins is the lead pastor of Family Church based in West Palm Beach, FL. Scroggins is dedicated to building strong, gospel-centered families in South Florida through a network of neighborhood churches. Family Church has seven locations and ministers in both English and Spanish. Scroggins and his ministry team hold to a vision of seeing each of their campuses to help people in their community and throughout South Florida discover and pursue God’s design. Scroggins completed his theological training at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and was formerly dean of Boyce College, Southern’s undergraduate school. Scroggins and his wife Kristin live in West Palm Beach and are raising eight children.

Steve GainesSteve Gaines serves as Bellevue’s Pastor. Before coming to Bellevue, he was Pastor of First Baptist Church in Gardendale, Alabama; West Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee; and Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas, Texas. Bro. Steve served as President of the Pastors' Conference of the Southern Baptist Convention in 2005, and he was a member of the Baptist Faith and Message Study Committee in 1999-2000. He has published two books, Morning Manna and When God Comes to Church. Bro. Steve holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Preaching and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science from Union University. Bro. Ronnie Floyd is the senior pastor of Cross Church, Northwest Arkansas and President of the Southern Baptist Convention. Floyd has been a pastor for over 37 years. In his 28 years at Cross Church, the ministry has grown to include five campuses and has cultivated a deep passion for supporting church plants around the globe and engaging the church in local and international missions. In addition to being named to several positions within the Southern Baptist Convention, Floyd was elected President of the Southern Baptist Convention following his nomination by R. Nick Floyd serves as the campus pastor at Cross Church Fayetteville, Ark. Each Sunday, Cross Church Fayetteville and Floyd welcome members of the Fayetteville community into four worship services. Under the leadership of Cross Church’s Senior Pastor, Ronnie Floyd, Nick Floyd assists in preaching at all Cross Church campuses. Floyd received his bachelor’s degree from Liberty University and his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He obtained his Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2010, Floyd was named to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s ‘Fast 15- Class of 2010,’ a program that recognizes a small group of 20-something professionals that have made an impact on their community.

DAY 1 - DEPARTURE:
Depart from Northwest Arkansas (XNA) via Philadelphia to Tel Aviv on US Airways.

DAY 2 - TEL AVIV / NETANYA:
Shalom! We arrive in HIS LAND. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, we will be met and assisted to our motor coach. We proceed to our hotel on the shores of the Mediterranean. (D)

DAY 3 - CAESAREA / MEGIDDO / TIBERIAS:
Today’s sites include the ancient seaport and Roman theater at Caesarea, Mount Carmel, Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon. We arrive in Tiberias at our hotel overlooking the Sea of Galilee. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 - SEA OF GALILEE / CAPERNAUM / CAESAREA PHILIPPI:
Today we cross the Sea of Galilee by boat landing at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar where we view the ancient Jesus Boat. We continue to the site of Peter’s restoration and the Mt. of the Beatitudes before arriving at Kibbutz En Gev for a lunch of St. Peter’s fish. Later we visit Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry base with its ancient synagogue. Time permitting we will travel north to Caesarea Philippi and the mouth of the Jordan River. We end our day at the baptismal site on the Jordan River. If you desire to be baptized please bring a swimsuit.(B,L,D)

DAY 5 - BET SHEAN / JERUSALEM:
This morning we have a short ride south to the city of Bet Shean and continue to Gideon’s Spring at En Harod. We then go up to the Holy City of Jerusalem! Enter HIS gates with gladness! Time permitting we will overview Jerusalem from the Mt. of Olives before arriving at our hotel. (B,L,D) 

DAY 6 - JERUSALEM / MOUNT OF OLIVES / GETHSEMANE / OLD CITY:
We begin our day on the top of the Mt. of Olives before taking the Palm Sunday path to the Garden of Gethsemane. We have a very special prayer service in a private garden next to Gethsemane. Later we enter the Old City through the Lion’s Gate and visit the famous Church of St. Anne with its rich, deep acoustics and the Pool of Bethesda. We continue to the Sisters of Zion Convent to visit the site of Pilate’s Judgment Hall/Antonio Fortress. We continue to the house of Caiaphas. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 - OLD CITY / WAILING WALL / TEMPLE MOUNT / SOUTHERN EXCAVATIONS:
Today we visit the Jewish Quarter, Wailing (Western) Wall and Temple Mount where we view the Dome of the Rock, the Al Aksa Mosque and the site where The Temple once stood. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 - MASADA / QUMRAN / DEAD SEA:
We depart Jerusalem and proceed through the Judean Wilderness to Qumran, the site where a Bedouin shepherd found the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. We travel south along the shore of the Dead Sea on the lowest road in the world to Masada, truly a remarkable piece of history. En Gedi, a beautiful oasis on the shores of the Dead Sea is our last stop before returning to Jerusalem. (B,L,D)

DAY 9 - GARDEN TOMB:
Today we visit the Garden Tomb for an exciting time of praise and worship. We will view Golgotha and then tour the Garden itself with a visit to the empty tomb. After lunch we will visit additional sites to be determined by our guide before returning to our hotel for dinner and check out. We arrive at the airport for our overnight flight back to Philadelphia. (B,L,D)

DAY 10 - HOME:
This morning we arrive in Philadelphia. After a plane change, we continue to Northwest Arkansas (XNA). We will return with memories and new friends to last a lifetime and beyond.

PASSPORT: A valid passport is required and must be obtained in person by each tour member. No visas are required for Israel. A valid passport is required to leave the USA. It should be valid for a minimum of SIX MONTHS after your return date; you will be denied boarding if your passport is not valid for SIX MONTHS beyond your return date.

REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT: A deposit of $500 per person is required at the time of registration. The deposit may be charged to your VISA, MasterCard or AMERICAN EXPRESS. Registrations received inside sixty (60) days must be accompanied by full payment. A $30 LATE REGISTRATION fee will be assessed.

PAYMENTS: After you have registered for a tour, you will receive an invoice with final payment amount and date due. Final payments should be made payable to DISCOVERY WORLDWIDE MINISTRIES and must be received sixty (60) days prior to departure. Final payments received inside sixty (60) days will be assessed a $30 LATE PAYMENT fee. NOTE: ALL reservations not fully paid by the sixty-day deadline are subject to cancellation, for which Tour Operator is not to be held responsible.

AIRLINE SEATS: Seats without a deposit must be released 95 days from departure. If you cancel your seat with DWM in writing within the 95 days there is a penalty of $100 per person.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If a passenger cancels his/her tour membership for any reason, there will be a cancellation fee of one hundred dollars ($100) to cover administrative and communication costs. For cancellations from 90-60 days an additional $100 is charged for a total cancellation fee of $200. Cancellations received 59-31 days prior to departure: 25% of tour cost; 30-15 days: 50%; NO REFUND for cancellations within fourteen (14) days of departure -- trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available and is highly recommended. All cancellation requests must be addressed to Discovery Worldwide Ministries in writing. Phone calls for cancellations cannot be accepted.

Discovery Worldwide Ministries (Tour Operator) agrees to arrange for the tour described in this brochure. This represents the entire agreement between the passenger and his agent, the Tour Host, the Tour Operator and its agents. Except as stated herein, no person is authorized to cancel, modify, or vary the tour arrangements or to make any representation of warranty concerning the tour. The theme for Kidz Day this year will be based off the popular kids game, Minecraft. This game is all about digging and building, we will spend five weeks digging into the Bible, discovering building blocks, and learning the essentials of crafting our faith. This five week series will lead up to Easter Sunday. It will touch on five major elements of our faith - the Bible, salvation, baptism, evangelism, and worship. We will look at these elements through the lens of “story” -teaching kids how they can craft their story.

Join us Saturday, April 4 at 2:30 p.m. for Easter Eggstravaganza on the baseball fields at our Springdale campus!

  • FREE ADMISSION
  • 30,000 Eggs
  • Helicopter Egg Drop

Prize eggs will be hidden and can be redeemed after the hunt in the Atrium before our 4:00 p.m. Easter service!



Project Zero Project Zero Apr 10th 2015

Location/Venue: Pinnacle Hills Gatheria
Time: 6:30PM to 8:30PM

1 + 1 = 0 (One child plus one family equals zero kids waiting!)

On April 10, Project Zero will be premiering a brand new heart gallery that will travel around Northwest Arkansas! At the premiere, we will be fundraising to ensure waiting children have their picture represented in the gallery and that our organization can continue to support all waiting children in their pursuit to find their forever family. We have the privilege of hosting the first lady of Arkansas, Susan Hutchinson, as our guest speaker and 19 Kids and Counting's Amy Duggar as our musical guest. We would love for you to join us this night in loving on our states waiting children!

  • Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and seating will be first come first serve.
  • Dress will be business formal.
  • Dinner will be served.
  • Childcare will not be provided.
